We Have a TPR Court Date!

April 29th...our courts must be backed up as it seldom happens that you are assigned a date that's more than a month out. Still, we are rejoicing at how quickly our second adoption from foster care has moved along. We are fortunate we live in the state we do. I know many others are not as fortunate and deal with very outdated models of foster care and adoption. I'm beginning to wonder what it would take to become a lobbyist.

WooHoo! Great news! I am sooooo happy for you guys!!!!You do live in an efficient state for foster care! Ours is fairly decent compared to some but still slower than yours ---they seem to always want to take the whole 15 months till termination no matter what (at least in our county anyway) But CONGRATS TO YOU!!!!!!

Oh how fantastic! I can't wait to hear more after that court date. Our court date for Boo is 8 April. We're being told that CPS will be going to court asking the judge to set at TPR court date and change Boo's case plan to one of adoption rather than reunification. I'm anxious for that court date. I will be in attendance!
