My husband and I adopted our daughter "Sugar Cookie" from foster care in March 2007. I've learned that infertility is the best gift God could have given us, because it gave us our daughter. Cookie came to us at 2 days old, on December 22, 2005. On July 31st, 2007 our daughter's sister "Bit-Bit" was born and placed with us. We finalized her adoption on October 3, 2008. While our home is now closed to further children, it remains a place for great stories!
While throwing food on the floor, she says in the most stern voice she can muster:
"No Mia - EAT!"
While looking at my boobs, points to one of the many age spots, and says:
"Mole!"
While sitting on the airplane awaiting takeoff for far too long, she looks around and shouts:
"Ready!"

That is too cute- I am wondering when they stop throwing food on the floor- drives me crazy! :) that cute cookie! Safe travels!
That's hilarious. My one year old just started saying "uh-oh" when she throws her food down. Drives me crazy!
OMG. I love the "Ready" yell. Maybe I should do that next time I fly.
So sweet!!! I need her on my upcoming trip to say ready!!!
HAHAHA maybe we shoudl all say that if it gets them moving a bit faster.
