My husband and I adopted our daughter "Sugar Cookie" from foster care in March 2007. I've learned that infertility is the best gift God could have given us, because it gave us our daughter. Cookie came to us at 2 days old, on December 22, 2005. On July 31st, 2007 our daughter's sister "Bit-Bit" was born and placed with us. We finalized her adoption on October 3, 2008. While our home is now closed to further children, it remains a place for great stories!
"No Mia. We don't stick our finger in Bit-Bit's booty."
"No, Mia. We don't pee in the tub...on our sister."
"If you take the time to spread your legs AND squat before you pee, you know you have to pee."
Man, the wisdom just keeps coming.

This post cracks me up!
I was bathing Snuggle Bug and Boo the other evening and I suddenly spotted a floating "log" (I think it was produced by Boo). I was horrified and quickly pulled both kids out of the tub. They were a bit disgruntled because they weren't finished playing! :)
